Company Description We are Fowler Welch – a multi award winning supply chain specialist working with retailers, wholesalers and manufacturers across the UK. We are now recruiting for LGV/HGV C+E Class 1 Drivers on a casual, permanent basis based for various shift patterns in Newton Abbot. Job Description Your role will include operating refrigerated vehicles, delivering and collecting chilled stock from Local and Regional Distribution Centres as well as Farms and Packhouses across the UK. Shifts: Casual shifts available. Salary/Basic Rates: From £13.36 per hour to £21.36 per hour. Qualifications Possession of LGV C+E Licence Current DCPC Knowledge of Road Transport Directive and Current Drivers Hours Desirable but full training can be provided Excellent Communication Skills Ability to Work Effectively and Accurately in a Fast Paced Environment Effectively Prioritise Workload in Order to Meet Set Deadlines Additional Information As part of our drive to make Fowler Welch a great place to work.
