Support the Matchday Experience

We're looking for enthusiastic and experienced Matchday Supervisors to join our operations team at Easter Road Stadium.

This is a hands-on supervisory role responsible for supporting Matchday Duty Managers in the delivery of hospitality, catering, and premium bar operations across the stadium during Hibernian FC matchdays and a variety of events throughout the year.

Working alongside Matchday Duty Managers, you'll help lead front-line teams and support the wider operations team to ensure hospitality, catering, and bar operations are delivered to the highest standards. You'll play a key role in maintaining service standards, coordinating staff, and helping to ensure every matchday and event runs smoothly for supporters, guests, and clients.

Working Pattern & Pay

  • This is a casual, hourly-paid position offering flexibility around matchdays and events.
  • Competitive hourly rate
  • Flexible working pattern
  • Matchday, evening, weekend, and event work required
  • Opportunities to support conferences, meetings, hospitality functions, and special events throughout the year

What You'll Be Doing

  • Supporting Matchday Duty Managers in the day-to-day operation of hospitality, catering, and bar areas.
  • Assisting with pre-event briefings and ensuring team members understand expectations, service standards, and operational procedures.
  • Supervising bartenders, food & beverage team members, and casual staff throughout events.
  • Leading by example and maintaining high standards of customer service, professionalism, and presentation.
  • Supporting the setup and preparation of hospitality lounges, executive suites, bars, and event spaces.
  • Ensuring service areas are clean, organised, fully stocked, and ready for operation.
  • Monitoring service flow and supporting teams to deliver efficient service during busy periods.
  • Assisting with stock replenishment requirements and communicating operational needs to Duty Managers and the Bar & Cellar Coordinator.
  • Supporting venue opening and closing procedures.
  • Monitoring staff performance and providing guidance, support, and coaching where required.
  • Assisting with conferences, meetings, private functions, and non-matchday events throughout the year.
  • Ensuring teams adhere to company procedures, licensing requirements, and venue standards.
  • Promoting good food safety practices and allergen awareness across all service areas.
  • Carrying out regular checks of guest-facing and back-of-house areas to ensure cleanliness, safety, and operational readiness.
  • Ensuring fire exits, walkways, and storage areas remain clear, safe, and compliant.
  • Supporting health & safety procedures and reporting any concerns promptly.
  • Completing operational and compliance checklists accurately and on time.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
