Retail Assistant – Role Overview
Role Purpose
Retail Assistants are responsible for carrying out the front-line selling effort, driving sales revenue for Fanatics, creating the ultimate experience for our fans, and maintaining excellent retail standards through the back-of-house operations. Retail Assistants will drive results through effective communication and a demonstrated ability to work as part of a winning team.
This role typically operates on a part-time schedule, which may include days, nights, and weekends.
Responsibilities

Customer Engagement
- Greet fans and guide them to make their shopping experience enjoyable
- Offer product recommendations based on interactions with fans

Retail Execution
- Ensure seamless brand connections by maintaining high service standards
- Maintain the sales floor and/or stockroom to rigorous standards
- Process sales transactions using the Fanatics POS System

Operational Excellence
- Uphold housekeeping, cleanliness, and general retail standards
- Ensure professionalism and positive representation of the Fanatics brand and sporting partners

Flexibility & Adaptability
- Perform additional tasks as directed by management
Experience & Knowledge
- Preferred: Former retail or sales experience
- Essential:
- Ability to work independently and responsibly in fast-paced environments
- Availability for extended hours, particularly on game days and events
- (Foreign language skills beneficial but not essential)
