The Role: Sales Assistant

As a Sales Assistant at Sports Direct, you’ll be at the heart of our bustling retail operations. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Greeting customers, answering queries, and creating seamless shopping experiences
  • Supporting the team to hit daily sales and service targets
  • Keeping the store floor visually appealing, well-stocked, and efficient

Job Description

Responsibilities

As a Sales Assistant, you’ll take on the following key duties:

  • Greet customers, address their inquiries, and assist them in finding the right products
  • Provide exceptional service at every customer interaction—from store entry to checkout
  • Maintain a neat, organised, and visually appealing store floor
  • Ensure shelves and rails are consistently restocked and ready for new customers
  • Process transactions efficiently and accurately
  • Promote current promotions and identify opportunity moments to encourage further purchases
  • Collaborate effectively with the team to achieve daily targets
