About the Role

As a Sales Assistant, you’ll be at the heart of one of the UK’s busiest store networks, assisting customers, maintaining a polished retail environment, and helping the team meet daily targets. Your role will be dynamic—no two shifts are ever the same, keeping your work stimulating and engaging.

Job Description

What You’ll Do

  • Customer-focused service: Greet, assist, and support customers from the moment they walk in to the point of sale
  • Exceed customer expectations: Provide brilliant service at every interaction—whether that’s finding a product, resolving enquiries, or creating a seamless shopping experience
  • Maintain store presentation: Keep the floors neat, stocked, and professionally displayed to guarantee a positive customer experience
  • Ensure availability: Replenish shelves, racks, and stock efficiently to avoid gaps and keep the store ready for customers
  • Transaction accuracy: Process sales faster and accurately, ensuring smooth checkouts
  • Upsell opportunities: Spot and strategically promote offers, identifying ways to enhance the shopping experience
  • Drive team goals: Collaborate with your colleagues to meet daily sales and service targets

Requirements

What You’ll Bring

  • Personality & attitude: A confident, friendly, and positive approach—helpful, approachable, and always putting customers first
  • Hands-on mindset: Experience in retail or customer service is beneficial but not essential. We’ll provide full training to get you up to speed
  • Committed to excellence: Proud of your work, motivated to deliver strong results, and eager to take ownership
  • Adaptability & reliability: Able to adapt to busy periods, notably during peak trade, while maintaining reliability
  • Team-first values: Thrives in high-energy, collaborative environments where momentum matters
