Sales Assistant – Sports Direct

The Role
This is retail with momentum. As a Sales Assistant at Sports Direct, you’ll be on the front line of one of the UK’s busiest store networks, helping customers find what they need, maintaining a sharp store floor, and leading the team through every trading day. No two shifts are ever the same—and that’s exactly the point.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers, assist with inquiries, and help find the right products
- Provide brilliant service at every customer touchpoint (from checkout to sales assistance)
- Keep the shop floor tidy, well-stocked, and visually appealing
- Replenish shelves and stock displays to ensure the floor is always customer-ready
- Process transactions quickly and accurately
- Promote current promotions and identify smart upsell opportunities
- Work collaboratively with the team to meet daily sales and service targets
