Casual Security Officer

Security Officer (Casual Contract) – Bristol Sites

About The Role

Shift Pattern: This is a casual contract role, with shifts available to cover sickness, annual leave, holidays, training, and busy periods across various sites. Shifts are 8, 10, and 12-hour rotations in Bristol.

As a Security Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of employees and visitors on-site, providing a professional and friendly first line of support. Your responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities

  • First line support to employees and visitors, offering a friendly and professional service.
  • Monitoring fire, security, and building systems to ensure compliance and safety.
  • Completing assigned tasks professionally and punctually, adhering to legal requirements.
  • Conducting regular security patrols to maintain site safety.
  • Responding promptly to security incidents or emergencies.
  • Maintaining accurate records of incidents and activities.
  • Collaborating with other security personnel to ensure full coverage.

Requirements

The ideal candidate must meet the following criteria:

  • Right to work in the UK
  • SIA licence (essential)
  • Advantegeous: Experience within the security industry
  • Ability to work independently
  • Professional demeanour, sound judgement, and integrity
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Reliable, punctual, with a strong work ethic
