Our Wandsworth Day Nursery and Preschool is seeking an enthusiastic Early Years Assistant to play a key role in caring for, supporting, and inspiring our children—encouraging curiosity and helping them thrive every day.

Responsibilities

You will:

  • Be a positive role model to uphold Grandir UK values
  • Ensure equality of access and opportunity for staff, parents, and children
  • Supervise and support children at all times
  • Contribute to a welcoming, attractive environment
  • Prepare and supervise activities under Level 3 Qualified Practitioners’ guidance
  • Read, understand, and implement all company policies and operational practices
  • Adhere to compliance/timelines for policy updates
  • Ensure nursery practice/provision aligns with Early Years Foundation Stage standards
  • Report any concerns/issues about policies/procedures to your line manager
  • Maintain a positive attitude with children, parents, visitors, and colleagues
  • Uphold confidentiality where required
  • Attend staff meetings, planning sessions, and training
