Our Kiddi Caru Nursery in Ower, is looking for a caring and enthusiastic Early Years Assistant to join our team. You will play a key role in caring for, supporting and inspiring our children, encouraging curiosity and helping them thrive every day.

About Our Nursery

Our nursery is set within beautifully converted stables, offering bright, welcoming spaces filled with natural light. Age-appropriate playrooms support every stage of development, with a calm Baby Room, engaging Toddler and Preschool areas, and transitions tailored to each child's individual readiness.

Our spacious outdoor gardens encourage daily adventures, from climbing and active play to safe exploration for our youngest children. We also offer a range of enriching activities, including sports, tennis, music and movement, and nature-based learning, helping children build confidence, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning.

Location and Travel

Kiddi Caru Ower is ideally located on Salisbury Road, just off the M27 and close to Pollards Moor Road, Frogmore Lane and Romsey Road. Our setting is surrounded by rural fields and sits opposite Paultons Park, making it convenient for families travelling from Romsey, Ower, and the wider New Forest community.

What Will You Be Doing

  • Provide a positive practice role model to ensure that Grandir UK values are maintained
  • Ensure that equality of access and opportunity is afforded to all staff, parents and children
  • Supervise and support children at all times
  • Contribute to maintaining an attractive and welcoming environment
  • Prepare and supervise activities under the guidance of Level 3 qualified Practitioners
  • Read, understand and implement all company policies, procedures and operational practices
  • Ensure that any changes to policies, procedures and operational practices are adhered to within the required timescale
  • Ensure that practice and provision in the nursery meets the requirements of the Early Years Foundation stage
  • Notify your line manager of any concerns or issues regarding company policies, procedures and operational practices
  • Maintain a positive attitude at all times with children, parents, visitors and work colleagues
  • Ensure confidentiality, where appropriate, is maintained
  • Attend regular staff meetings, planning meetings and undertake training as required
