Location: Silks Farm Day Nursery, Huntingdon, Part of Grandir UK
Salary: £12.82 to £13.60 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications with regular pay reviews)

About the Role
Our Silks Farm Day Nursery is seeking a caring and enthusiastic Casual Worker to join our nurturing team. You’ll play a critical role in:
- Caring for, supporting and inspiring our children
- Encouraging curiosity and helping them thrive every day
Core Responsibilities
- Provide a positive practice role model aligning with Grandir UK values
- Ensure equality of access and opportunity for all staff, parents, and children
- Supervise and support children at all times
- Contribute to an attractive, welcoming environment
- Prepare and supervise activities (under the guidance of Level 3 qualified Practitioners)
- Read, understand, and implement all company policies, procedures, and operational practices
- Ensure adherence to Ofsted and Early Years Foundation Stage requirements
- Confidentially report any concerns to your line manager
- Maintain professionalism with children, parents, visitors, and colleagues
- Maintain confidentiality where necessary
- Attend staff meetings, planning sessions, and ongoing training

Our Silks Farm Day Nursery offers:

Job Requirements
- Ability to commit to flexible casual/hours-based availability
- Interest in early-years childcare with strong nurturing skills
