Eames is currently working with a specialty Lloyd’s insurer looking for an experienced Casualty Claims Manager to join and lead a team in London.
Reporting into the Head of Casualty Claims, you will help drive team performance, provide technical guidance, and contribute to business objectives through strong claims expertise and effective stakeholder management.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading and supporting a team of casualty claims professionals, including coaching, development, and performance management Managing a portfolio of complex casualty claims (specifically General/Public Liability, Product Liability, Employers’ Liability and Environment Impairment Liability) from initial notification through to resolution Reviewing coverage, liability, quantum, reserves, and claims strategy throughout the claim lifecycle Ensuring claims are handled in line with regulatory expectations, internal standards, and best practice principles Providing insight into claims trends, performance, and opportunities for continuous improvement

Strong experience within the London Market across Casualty claims Proven ability to manage and develop a high-performing claims team Excellent technical understanding of claims processes, coverage, liability, and negotiation
