Cat Sitting needed near Shildon & Dene Valley DL4
My cat is very shy and timid, only likes me and when strangers come into the house she hides in the bed. I have tried having family members stay in the house while I am away but that stresses her even more and takes a while for her to calm down. Maisie is a house cat, never goes out. Sometimes, if she is frightened, she will try and dash out the front door, so it is important that the front door is closed quickly.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Maisie uses her cat tray twice a day, she drinks from a bowl that is in the bathroom sink and needs changing twice a day so that she has fresh water. Maisie eats dry food, and loves treats, particularly lick ticks, which she takes from me twice a day. However, she won't take it from a stranger, therefore it will need to go on her saucer.

Maisie isn't allowed in the lounge or kitchen when I am not in but has the run of upstairs.
