Catastrophic Injury Associate

Location: Manchester City Centre (Hybrid)

An award-winning international law firm is seeking a Catastrophic Injury Associate to join their highly regarded defendant litigation team in Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity to work on complex and high-profile catastrophic injury claims, with a particular focus on police law matters, acting on behalf of police forces, public authorities, and leading insurer clients.


The Opportunity

You will handle a varied caseload of catastrophic injury claims arising from police law matters, including cases involving:

  • Serious injury
  • Assault
  • False imprisonment
  • Human rights
  • Data protection
  • Equality Act claims

About You

You will be:

  • A qualified Solicitor or CILEX Lawyer
  • With experience in:
    • Defendant catastrophic injury litigation
    • Large loss or complex EL/PL (employers’ liability/public liability) litigation

Advantageous but not essential:

  • Experience in police law or public authority litigation
