Greenyard Frozen UK Category and Marketing Manager

We have a fantastic opportunity to join our UK Commercial Team within our Frozen Division working at our site in Kings Lynn, Norfolk.
This role would be suitable for someone who has experience working within a food manufacturing business in a category/marketing position.
Hours:
Monday - Friday 08.00 - 16.00 (flexibility required to suit business needs)
Working Arrangement:
Home working is possible for up to two days per week once training has been completed. Flexibility is required to suit business requirements.
Competitive Salary with fully electric company vehicle or car allowance.
Overall Purpose:
To provide insight, analysis and recommendations to both internal and external customers which facilitate the profitable growth and development of Greenyard Frozen UK’s product assortment and business. The UK Frozen Category and Marketing Manager should be the “go to person” when either a customer or Greenyard are looking to conduct a range review or initiate new product development.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide regular and timely market performance updates to the Greenyard UK commercial team using all available intelligence sources.
- In conjunction with the Greenyard UK NPD team, keep abreast of trends and innovation within the UK food industry, and report significant or relevant findings back to the Greenyard UK commercial team.
- Get involved in the account planning process for Greenyard UK key accounts (alongside the Commercial Director and relevant Business Manager.) Key purpose is to provide analysis and recommendations to shape the account plans.
- Work alongside the UK Business Managers to provide support when required at major customer presentations.
- Oversee management of Greenyard owned UK brands.
- Brand Representation – act as a natural ambassador for Greenyard Frozen maintaining and enhancing the company’s positioning and branding.
- Communication Strategy – Develop and implement communication strategies that align with the broader goals of Greenyard Frozen and the Greenyard Group.
- Internal Communications – Serve as the primary point of contact for all internal communications within Greenyard Frozen UK fostering collaboration and maintaining consistent messaging. Build and nurture a broad network of internal contacts across various departments, from white to blue collar workers acting as “internal journalist” to stay informed about key developments and stories within the organisation.
- Media Relations – Manage external communications when relevant, ensuring alignment with group communications and protecting the Greenyard brand image.

Person Specification:
- Experience working in a FMCG environment.
- Able to build strong relationships both internally and externally.
- Strong presentation skills and communication skills.
- Experience of using the full MS Office suite with particular emphasis on excel and powerpoint.
- Working to deadlines, workload planning and multi-tasking.
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
- Organised and efficient - have full responsibility for own administration output.
- Confident.

- Self-motivated and driven to succeed.
Must be willing to travel.
