We're recruiting for a Category Assistant to join a fast-paced international retail business, supporting the team responsible for delivering an ever-evolving product range enjoyed by millions of travellers worldwide.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative commercial team where you'll gain exposure to buying, merchandising, supplier management, promotions and category planning—all while enjoying the flexibility of fully remote working.
What you'll be doing
You'll play a key role in keeping the category function running smoothly, supporting everything from product launches to promotional campaigns.

- Maintaining product, pricing and range information across multiple business systems.
- Setting up new products and supporting product launches.
- Coordinating promotional activity and marketing assets.
- Liaising with suppliers and cross-functional teams including Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain and Operations.
- Processing invoices, supplier rebates and marketing claims.
- Producing commercial reports and analysing product and category performance.
- Supporting forecasting, purchase orders and category administration.
- Ensuring product information and compliance documentation is accurate and up to date.
- Helping improve processes and finding smarter ways of working.
About you
We're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-moving commercial environment and enjoys being at the centre of multiple projects.
You'll ideally have experience in a Buying Assistant, Merchandise Assistant, Category Assistant, Commercial Assistant or Product Administration role within retail, FMCG, consumer goods or a product-led business.
You'll also have:
- Excellent organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- A commercial mindset with strong analytical skills.
- Confidence working with Excel and business systems.
- The ability to prioritise multiple deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills and the confidence to build relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- A proactive, positive approach with a genuine passion for products and retail.
