About the Role

We’re looking for a Category Assistant to support our Category Managers in delivering compelling, well-structured ranges across our sites. You’ll take ownership of key administrative tasks, help manage selected product sections, and work closely with suppliers to ensure our online offer is accurate, competitive and commercially strong.

What You’ll Be Doing
Product & Range Support
- Maintain accurate product information, ensuring descriptions, images and data are up to date.
- Create product templates and upload new items across all websites.
- Review the market and competitors to identify range gaps and new opportunities.
- Support the Category Manager with product reviews, pricing checks and range development.

Supplier & Category Management
- Liaise with suppliers to gather product information and support range building.
- Manage selected supplier relationships, including regular performance reviews.
- Analyse sales data to understand product and supplier performance and present insights.
- Monitor competitor pricing and promotions, making recommendations to drive growth.
Cross-Team Collaboration
- Work closely with data, marketing and customer service teams to support product launches and updates.
- Provide product information for marketing campaigns and digital content.
- Arrange samples, photography and video where needed.
- Investigate product quality issues raised by warehouse or customer service teams.
General Support
- Complete administrative tasks accurately and on time.
- Suggest improvements to processes and documentation.
- Support onboarding or training of junior team members when required.

What We’re Looking For
- Experience in buying, merchandising or product management is beneficial.
- Strong analytical skills and confidence working with data.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Highly organised with excellent time-management skills.
- Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Ambitious, adaptable and able to work independently or as part of a team.
