Salary range per annum: £40050 - £44500
Role Summary
The Category Executive is the analytical engine for the UK and Ireland category retail marketing, providing the data infrastructure and insights that fuel our omnichannel growth plans. Reporting to the Retail Marketing Director, you will support the wider team by owning data reporting, analysis, and administrative support. By mastering internal AI tools and syndicated data, you will enable Category Managers and Customer Managers to be more productive and shopper-centric in their engagements with customers.

Responsibilities
- Own Data Synthesis and Reporting by managing Nielsen, household panel, and loyalty data to provide performance updates across all strategic accounts in the hub.
- Harness AI for Productivity by utilizing and developing internal AI tools to automate data pulls and uncover root-cause trends across physical and digital shelves.
- Support Retail Marketing Initiatives by providing the analytical foundation for range reviews, digital shelf audits, and omnichannel promotional tracking.
- Enable Team Efficiency by creating standardized reporting templates that allow the team to spend more time on customer-facing strategic activities.
- Champion Data Accuracy across all internal and external sources, ensuring the "voice of the data" is consistent and reliable.
- Support Hub-wide Projects as directed by the Retail Marketing Director to ensure category principles are met across the UK and Ireland.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (Business, Data Analytics, or Marketing preferred).
- At least 1-2 years of experience in an analytical or commercial support role (placement years included).
- Advanced technical proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and a demonstrated aptitude for learning new AI and data visualization software.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for "connecting the dots" between different data sources.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with syndicated data (Nielsen, Kantar, IRI).
- LIFT Principle Alignment: "Pursue our Curiosity" by finding new ways to use AI to improve reporting speed and insight quality.
- Effective communication skills to present data findings clearly to senior internal stakeholders.
