About this role
As Category Lead in the Global Grocery Sales Team, your core responsibility is to acquire, manage, and develop partnerships with some of the largest grocers across the globe, ensuring JET delivers a winning proposition to its consumers. Based on these partnerships, you drive the development of the grocery category consumer proposition and define business requirements that shape the P&T roadmap, while driving the adoption of agentic category management.

- Assume P&L responsibility for your global grocery accounts, with a clear growth plan
- Drive agentic category management capability development and adoption
- Work closely with the local Heads of Retail of 15 Markets to drive your strategy into action with executional excellence and based on solid analytics from your part
- Carefully manage a senior set of stakeholders across a matrix-led organisation
- Author Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) that translate partner commercial needs (e.g., new promotion mechanics, ETA improvements, integration requirements) into actionable P&T roadmap items, and actively drive them through the roadmap and prioritisation process
- Engage JET functions such as account management, marketing, operations, and logistics to develop company capabilities, improving the shopping and user experience within your vertical
- Represent JET at industry events with superior networking skills

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
