Job Description
Since launching the world’s first portable wood-pellet pizza oven in 2012, Ooni has grown into an award-winning, multinational company with a product range loved by pizza makers all over the globe. Our mission has always been to design innovative products that spark joy in our customers, and whilst we’re incredibly proud of what we’ve accomplished so far - we’re only just getting started.
We’re now entering an exciting new chapter in Ooni’s journey. As part of our growth strategy, we’re strengthening our core technical capabilities within our product team and that's where you come in. We’re looking for a Category Manager superstar to join the Ooni team. Working as part of our Category Management team, you’ll be involved in shaping our product roadmap and driving strategy for our award-winning product range. Alongside our Head of Product Category Management and Senior Category Managers, you’ll be an in-house expert on all things consumer and ensure our customers are always at the heart of our product development.
What you’ll do
- Support our Head of Category Management and Senior Category Managers to deliver our long-term commercial strategy.
- Building on consumer insight, market understanding, and internal expertise, help to build out market-leading segment plans for the categories you’re leading on.
- Identify and share knowledge of existing and emerging consumer needs and wants, identifying potential opportunities.
- Work closely with our Product team throughout the new product development process to ensure we deliver best-in-class products that exceed consumer expectations.
- Brief new products into the Marketing team for the creation of packaging, collateral, and product launch assets.
- Work closely with the Sales and Marketing teams on go-to-market planning and retailer line reviews.
- Contribute to demand planning with Sales, Operations, and Finance, offering forecasts grounded in market insight.
- With the Planning team, manage product lifecycles post-launch - tracking performance, addressing technical issues, driving improvements, and coordinating end-of-life processes.
- Understand, report on, and offer insight into Ooni’s product and category financials.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
