About The Role and Team eBay’s Collectibles organization is a dynamic and fast-evolving part of our business. It connects passionate communities of buyers and sellers across many outstanding categories like trading cards, arts & antiques, coins, and collectible toys. We are seeking a Category Manager Collectibles to take end-to-end responsibility for one or more key categories within the vertical. In this role, you will be responsible for the performance and development of your category – shaping strategy, setting priorities, and driving initiatives that directly impact results. You will collaborate with seller-facing teams and partners across functions to turn opportunities into action. This role involves working in a global environment and coordinating with international colleagues on issues beyond your local market. It combines methodical problem-solving with practical delivery across the main commercial areas of the business. What You Will Accomplish Own the performance of your categories, taking responsibility for business outcomes and steering the key levers that get results Define and continuously refine the strategy for your categories based on market trends, customer behavior, and competitive dynamics Identify and prioritize the highest-impact initiatives, and drive them through to execution Use data to understand performance drivers, uncover opportunities, and inform decisions Act as a strategic advisor to key sellers and partners, supporting their growth and strengthening their presence on eBay Identify gaps in supply and selection, and onboard relevant sellers and inventory to improve category competitiveness Collaborate closely with seller-facing teams and cross-functional partners (product, marketing, finance) to advance progress and eliminate obstacles What You Will Bring 3+ years of work experience; prior experience in strategy consulting strongly preferred, e-commerce experience is a plus Strong problem-solving skills with a structured, analytical approach and a clear bias for action and tangible results Proven ability to translate strategy into execution and thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment Experience working cross-functionally and driving alignment across diverse collaborators Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence internal teams and external partners Confidence in using data to inform decisions, challenge assumptions, and drive performance #LI-SI1 #LI-Hybrid Additional Details eBay is an equal opportunity employer.
