The role: What's in the Box
At HelloFresh, packaging is more than functional. It's part of how our customers experience every box we send. Our Packaging team is entering an exciting new phase, expanding its remit to look closely at the packaging surrounding our ingredients.
As Category Manager for Primary Packaging, you will report to the Director of Packaging and play a pioneering role in shaping a new category from the ground up. You'll work closely with our packaging design team on the broader redesign of our ingredient packaging across Europe, helping define both the strategy and the day-to-day of a brand-new function. If you enjoy building structure out of ambiguity and want ownership over something with real, visible impact, this role offers exactly that.
You are required to cooperate with HelloFresh in all health and safety matters. As part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and secure environment, we will process Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks to the successful individual. Failure to disclose relevant information at application or throughout the process could affect your employment with the company.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
