Job Title: Catering Agent/Lounge Cook

Contract Type: Full Time
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, between Monday – Sunday (shift work between 4am and 10pm) Flexibility required
Salary: £13.49 per hour
Introduction of a Night Shift Allowance of 0.85ph with hours worked between 23:59pm - 06:00 am
*Recruitment to add in - Cook/pay/night shift/incr after 6 months/increase after 12months subject to successful completion of probation/skills training

Responsibilities
Job responsibilities:
- As a Food preparation agent, you will report to the Shift Team Leader and will be a key member of the Back of House Team focussing on food preparation and food presentation in line with food safety standards and compliance.

- Manage the kitchen area within the lounge, maintaining a safe and hygienic environment.
- Prepare hot and cold food offerings to be presented on a self-service station within the lounge.
- To ensure the quality and presentation of food is prepared according to all SOPs to guarantee a consistently excellent standard of service.
- Ensure all food is stored, handled and packaged correctly.
- Follow our Food Safety Management System at all times.
- Maintain records of temperatures of hot food and cold storage according to the SOP.
- Assist Back of House team with duties as required.
- Adhoc reasonable requests by local leadership team.

Qualifications
Skills:
- Experience working in hospitality, ideally in an operational environment.
- Ability to roll your sleeves up and be one of the team interacting with guests, our partners and suppliers.
- Previous Allergens and Food Safety qualifications (new training will be provided).
- Strong communication, interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise tasks, and work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to be flexible with shifts depending on operational needs to cover a 7-day operation including early morning starts, evening finishing times.
- Proficiency in computer applications and systems.
- Knowledge of industry best practices, service standards, and safety regulations.
