Compass Group UK & Ireland is looking for enthusiastic and reliable Catering Assistants to join our team at a new onshore energy sector site in Netherton, Peterhead. With the site expected to mobilise from the beginning of September, this is an excellent opportunity to be part of a new operation from day one.
As a Catering Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering a high-quality food service, ensuring customers receive a welcoming, efficient, and professional experience every day.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and service of food and beverages.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the kitchen and dining areas.
- Support the kitchen team with food preparation and stock replenishment.
- Operate tills and handle customer transactions where required.
- Ensure all food safety, hygiene, and health and safety procedures are followed.
- Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude.
- Support colleagues to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Previous experience in catering, hospitality, retail, or customer service would be beneficial, although full training will be provided.
