Part-Time Barista Role – CH&CO (Compass Group UK&I)
We’re looking for a driven and passionate Barista to join our team on a part-time, contracted 25-hour per week basis. You’ll bring your creative flair and love for coffee to craft beautifully blended drinks and deliver first-class customer service and high-quality experiences at our CH&CO outlets.

Shift Pattern
- Monday to Friday: Afternoon shifts
- Weekends: Shift availability to be determined (closed on Sunday)
Responsibilities
You’ll be responsible for delivering exceptional service and contributing to a smooth-running café environment. Your core duties will include:
- Preparing and serving perfectly blended coffee drinks and high-quality food
- Maintaining a clean and organised bar area
- Handling cash and card payments efficiently
- Communicating clearly and working closely with a team-player mindset
- Ensuring an abundance of clean mugs, cups, and plates (stock maintenance)
- Learning various brewing methods, beverage blends, and food preparation/presentation techniques
- Monitoring equipment for functionality and reporting any maintenance needs
- Representing CH&CO professionally, upholding our brand standards
- Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene regulations (food safety certification may be required)
- Adhering to Health & Safety policies

Who We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should possess the following strengths:
- A natural ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with customers and team members
- Previous customer service experience (welcome in any industry)
- A drive for excellence and unwavering commitment to quality
- Strong decision-making skills—able to prioritise what’s best for the customer
- Practical experience with brewing equipment (latte machines, grinders, etc.)
- The ability to work well under pressure during busy periods
- Reliability and impeccable timekeeping
