Hours: Full-time (flexible, including evenings and weekends)
Are you reliable, energetic, and enjoy working in a busy food service environment? As a Catering Assistant at Daytona Sandown Park, you'll support food preparation, food service and customer service operations during our racing events. Working as part of a busy catering team, you'll help deliver high-quality food, maintain excellent food hygiene standards and create a positive customer experience.

Daytona Sandown Park is a long-established outdoor karting venue, hosting arrive-and-drive sessions, corporate events, championships, and endurance racing. This creates a busy, customer-focused environment where quality, consistency, and teamwork are essential.
The Role
As a Catering Assistant, you will support the day-to-day running of the catering operation, helping prepare and serve food, maintain hygiene standards, and ensure customers receive efficient and friendly service.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working as part of a team in a busy environment and takes pride in maintaining high standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation and presentation in line with business requirements
- Serve customers efficiently and provide a friendly, professional service
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and food hygiene at all times
- Support stock control, storage, and rotation of ingredients
- Assist with keeping kitchen and service areas organised and well maintained
- Work closely with the wider team to support events and busy periods
- Follow all health, safety, and food safety regulations
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a kitchen, catering, or food service role (desirable)
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Good attention to detail and commitment to high standards
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
- Food hygiene knowledge or certification (preferred but not essential)
- Right to work in the UK
