About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced Catering Supervisor who loves exceptional food and outstanding customer service to oversee our catering and service operations for Eurest (Compass Group UK&I) on a part-time basis (32 hours/week). If you’re passionate about delivering unforgettable food experiences while leading teams to excellence, we want to hear from you!
Shift Pattern Example: 5 days out of 7 – We experience the vibrant pace of our workplaces.
Key Responsibilities
As Catering Supervisor, you’ll be instrumental in ensuring our kitchens and service counters run seamlessly. Your core tasks will include:
- Excellence in Food Preparation: Ensuring all dishes meet consistently high standards.
- Team Leadership: Supervising and mentoring culinary and catering teams to uphold impeccable food quality and customer service.
- Performance Monitoring: Regular communication with your manager on KPIs and targets.
- Brand Champion: Representing Compass Group UK&I while building a positive brand reputation.
- Client Liaison: Bringing together customers and team members to exceed expectations.
- Staff Development: Leading by example, training, and fostering growth within teams.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Implementing and reviewing health, safety, and hygiene standards company-wide.

Ideal Candidate Profile
We’re looking for a driven and passionate individual with:
- 2+ years of catering experience (proven track record in similar supervisory roles).
- Proven managerial expertise – ability to lead and motivate teams effectively.
- ** Valid Basic Food Hygiene Certificate**.
- Strong communication and organisational skills (balancing creativity with attention to detail).
- A commitment to learning – consistently seeking opportunities to grow and enhance capabilities.
