About The Role And Team

We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and hardworking people, who take pride in their work and enjoy working in fast paced Catering Environments and who have excellent customer service skills to join our team.

Working within either at our busy Costa Coffee or Subway store, main duties for this role will include the preparation and service of a wide range of speciality food and drink items, understanding and adhering to all quality standards, formulas and procedures, clearing tables, using the till and general cleaning within the unit; providing excellent customer service at all times.

As a member of our team, you will be the face of a global brand and have a positive and energetic approach and be a colleague that the team look forward to working with and building strong relationships with others to accomplish tasks and shared goals. You will have a keen eye for detail and aim to deliver exceptional operational service and standards at all times and particularly in demanding and busy service times.

This winning attitude and ability to make delicious sandwiches/drinks quickly and efficiently will make you a key member of the team and the reason why customers keep coming back.

Available positions

These are permanent positions which will attract 20% uplift allowance pay for any hours worked at the weekend, view details of each position below:

  • Post 1 – Hours of work are 14 per week, (includes 2 shifts/7 hours per week to be arranged mainly Saturday and Sunday) working on a rotation basis between the hours of 7.00am and 7.30pm, on a permanent fractional contract for 33 weeks of the year basis. Flexibility to work a range of shifts will be required.
  • Post 2 – Hours of work are 10 per week, (includes 2 shifts/5 hours per day to be arranged mainly Saturday and Sunday) working on a rotation basis between the hours of 7.00am and 7.30pm, on a permanent fractional contract on a 33 weeks of the year basis. Flexibility to work a range of shifts will be required.
  • Post 3 - Hours of work are 15 per week (3 shifts/5 hours per day mainly Monday to Friday to include occasional weekends) working on a rotation basis between the hours of 7.00am-7.30pm, on a permanent fractional contract for 33 weeks of the year basis.

Please note – Post 3 is a core position - Full flexibility to work a range of varying shifts/work pattern is required which includes working outside of term and university vacation periods. Applicants interested in this post should only apply if you have full flexibility/ability to work at notice and full range of shifts/hours between 7am-730pm to suit the full needs of the business as staff are rota ’ed to work all shifts on rotation from shift pattern above.
