About the Role

Job Title

Catering Assistant / Driver

Location & Working Conditions

  • School Location: Based at St Polycarp’s Catholic Primary School (Farnham, GU9 8BQ).
  • Working Days: Monday to Friday (term time only).
  • Shifts & Hours: 10am–1.30pm (175 hours per week).
  • Annual Hours: 37 weeks/year.
  • Pay: £9,119.43 per annum.

⚠️ Critical Requirement: A full UK driving licence (required for operation of an IFG delivery van).


Key Responsibilities

  • Work as part of the catering team, ensuring a friendly, efficient, and hygienic service.
  • Pack and drive an IFG van to ST Edmunds Primary School, serving meals and returning to St Polycarp’s.
  • Assist in food and snack preparation for the site.
  • Serve customers (counter operations & till management).
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, tidiness, and safety in kitchens and dining areas.

Applicants with excellent customer service experiences (e.g., from catering or retail) are preferred, but all applications are welcomed if you share our passion for great food and teamwork!
