CATERING ASSISTANT - HEALTHCARE
Salary: £12.71 per hour (Saturday - £19.07 & Sunday - £25.42)
Working Hours: Permanent, Part Time, 26.25 hours per week, 2 week rota - 07:00 - 15:00
[Week1: Mon-Thu-Fri. Week2: Tue-Wed-Sat-Sun]
Location: Kelling Hospital, Holt, NR25 6QA
We are looking for an individual who excels in a team environment, possesses excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, and has strong food hygiene knowledge to guarantee that all food preparation and handling adhere to the highest standards and legal requirements.
Responsibilities
- Food Service: Prepare and serve daily meals, snacks, and beverages, adhering to approved delivery schedules for all food and drinks.
- Quality Control: Ensure food presentation, portion control, temperature, and overall quality consistently meet the required standards.
- Hygiene & Safety: Maintain high food hygiene, safety, and service standards. Ensure all food is handled, stored, prepared, and cooked in accordance with good practice and relevant Legislation regarding food safety and hygiene.
- Logistics & Waste: Dispose of catering waste according to departmental policies and receive goods deliveries following proper procedures.
- Cleaning: Perform assigned cleaning tasks using provided checklists and training to maintain a sanitised working environment.
