The Big Fresh Catering Company provides healthy, nutritious school meals at lunchtime, compliant with Welsh Government’s Healthy Eating in Schools (Nutritional Standards and Requirements) (Wales) Regulations 2013. We also offer a high-quality Buffet/Function service to schools, the Café at the Penarth Pier Pavilion, weddings, external customers, and companies.

About the Role
Pay & Hours
- Grade: 1 (SCP 3)
- Salary: £25,949 pro rata (~£13.45/hour)
- Working Pattern: 5 days, 12.5 hours per week, term-time only
- Main Location: Llansannor Primary
Job Description
Seek an enthusiastic Catering Assistant to:
- Set up the dining hall
- Serve meals
- Wash up
- Clear away equipment and surroundings

About You
You will need to demonstrate:
- The ability to assist in all kitchen duties to maintain required standards
- An approachable and friendly manner
- Commitment and teamwork towards delivering excellent service
Requirements
- Enhanced DBS Check: Must have a Barred List check for working with children
