Part-Time Catering Assistant (22.5 Hours a Week)

About the Role
- Work 22.5 hours per week with an established and dedicated kitchen team
- Reporting to the Head Chef, you’ll assist with meal preparation, maintain a clean and safe working environment, and assist with deliveries
- Significant social interaction with colleagues, ensuring a well-rounded team-focused role

Key Responsibilities
As a Catering Assistant, you’ll be responsible for:
- Assisting catering staff in preparing and cooking meals in line with company policies
- Serving meals to service users, staff, and visitors
- Managing storage procedures and stock rotation
- Maintaining hygiene standards and compliance with company protocols
- Liaising with dietitians regarding dietary needs
- Ensuring a clean and safe kitchen environment
Requirements
To excel in this role, you’ll need:
- A relevant catering qualification (desirable)
- Knowledge of COSHH and HACCP
- Previous similar role experience
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills
