The Catering Team
Our catering team holds a 5-star food hygiene rating, ensuring high standards for school meals and services. We are now seeking a Catering Assistant to support our operations.

Role Overview
Position
- Grade 2, SCP 4 (Full-Time equivalent salary: £25,185/year)
- Part-Time: 16 hours per week (10:30–13:30 on Mon, Wed, Thu, Fri; 09:30–13:30 on Tue)
- Contract: Permanent, term-time only (38 weeks + 5 inset days = 39 weeks total)
- Actual Salary (for 16 hours/week): £9,409.87/year (pro rata)
- Term: 01st September 2026
- Responsible to: Catering Manager / Finance Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with the daily operation of an efficient school catering service
- Supporting the maintenance of high standards in food preparation and hygiene
- Contributing to a clean, organised, and welcoming dining environment
- Providing support in meal service, kitchen tasks, and inventory management
- Ensuring compliance with food safety and school policies
Requirements
- Must be eligible to work in the UK
- Must provide proof of relevant qualifications (if any)
- Must supply suitable references
