Role and Purpose
To provide an effective and efficient catering and hospitality service across various venues, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Additional positions available for cafés and bars.
Principal Accountabilities
- Provide a quality catering service, ensuring:
- Tables are cleared and cleaned in a timely and professional manner
- Support with pot washing, where required
- Prepare food and drink strictly in adherence to the Food Safety Act 1990
- Maintain food hygiene standards, recording daily temperature checks for hot food and refrigeration
- Ensure secure storage and rotation of stock in collaboration with duty managers to minimise waste
- Conduct cleaning tasks following COSHH and hygiene procedures
- Respond to customer enquiries with efficiency and resolve minor complaints professionally
- Adhere to cash handling, stock control, and key security procedures

- Grade: 2
- Pay Range: £24,413.00 – £24,796.00
- Job Classification: Not Politically Restricted, Casual (travel allowance policy)
