General Catering Assistant — Woodbridge School

- Salary: £11,935.18 per annum (£12,760 pro rata)
- Hours: 24 hours per week (term time only, 34 weeks per year)
- Contract: Fixed-term to cover maternity leave

About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and motivated General Catering Assistant to join our Catering Team at Woodbridge School’s Senior School.
Working within a busy and fast-paced environment, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operation of the kitchen, ensuring the smooth preparation and delivery of high-quality food to pupils, staff, and visitors.
Reporting to the Chefs, you will assist with a range of general kitchen duties, helping to create an efficient, clean, and welcoming catering environment.

- Assist with general kitchen duties, maintaining cleanliness and order.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Ensure excellent service standards for all users of the catering facilities.

Working Hours
- ** Expected pattern: 4 days a week, 24 hours total**
- Shifts available:
- 2 x 9:00 am – 3:00 pm
- 2 x 10:00 am – 4:00 pm
- 2 weekend shifts every 4 weeks.
- 12:30 pm – 6:30 pm (weekday and weekend coverage).
