Customer Service and Catering Assistant – 40-WEEK TERM-TIME ROLE
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive and welcoming team, where delivering outstanding customer service is at the heart of everything we do. You’ll play an important role in:
- Preparing and serving our menus
- Maintaining clean, safe, and well-organised spaces
- Helping ensure customers feel comfortable and welcome
What You’ll Do
- Provide a high standard of customer care, demonstrating a friendly, professional, and courteous approach
- Serve customers in coffee shops and restaurants, including:
- Operating a till system
- Clearing tables and performing general catering duties
- Assisting with dishwashing
- Complete basic food preparation, fully adhering to health, safety, and hygiene legislation
- Undertake required Food Safety training
This is a term-time only role, with 40 weeks of work per year. Hours are:

- Sunday: 8:00am – 3:30pm
- Monday or Tuesday: 4:00pm – 8:00pm (bid preference may apply)
What You’ll Bring
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has strong communication skills and thrives in a team environment
- Possesses basic numeracy and literacy skills
- Demonstrates a positive, customer-focused attitude
- Is willing to complete Food Safety training
- Can work flexibly, including evenings and weekends
