Catering Event Operations Manager - QEII
Full-Time / Permanent
£37,080 + excellent benefits including healthcare, wellbeing support, 23 days' annual leave plus bank holidays, life assurance, meals on duty, and more.

The QEII Centre is the largest dedicated conference and exhibition space in Central London and we are looking for an experienced Event Manager to join our friendly team.
Working under the Head of Events you will be joining an experienced team of floor managers looking after event delivery.
Must have experience in running catering events and banqueting

Event Operations Manager - The Role
- Lead and manage daily running of corporate catering events
- Conduct on-the job training of staff and ensure effective deployment of staff in line with event requirements
- Ensure that uniform standards are upheld to the highest standard
- Demonstrate full alignment to our Levy Restaurants vision and values by doing the right things
- Demonstrate a can‐do attitude towards individual client requests and strive to exceed customer expectations
- Ensure allergies and specific dietary requirements are held as a priority
- Take an active role in promoting the welfare of staff members
- Treat all clients and customers in a polite and courteous manner at all times to ensure customer satisfaction is achieved by providing the highest level of service possible
- Ensure all displays, counters and seating areas comply with company and statutory health and hygiene requirements

What We're Looking For
- Excellent communication skills to lead, engage and motivate the team in delivering events
- Acting as the first point of contact for catering on the event day, providing friendly and professional customer service
- Background in conference and event managements
- Running events for up to 1,500 attendees
