London Stadium Catering Manager
London Stadium is one of Freemans' Premier Catering Operations, running 7 units every matchday, concert and other exciting events at the venue.
Freemans is looking to expand its local team of Managers with experienced operators who can make an immediate impact and want to help with creating a culture of high performance. It isn't enough to have the right profile, we also need the right people to lead.
Job Summary
We are looking for skilled Catering Managers to oversee all operations of a catering unit, ensuring top-quality service, food standards, and customer satisfaction. The Catering Manager will lead and train catering staff, manage inventory, maintain food safety compliance, and coordinate service at events.
Key Responsibilities
- Operations Management: Oversee daily catering operations, ensuring timely food preparation and smooth service at events.
- Staff Management: Train, assign tasks, and motivate catering staff, ensuring high performance and adequate coverage.
- Food Quality & Safety: Maintain high food quality standards, ensure compliance with food safety regulations, and conduct regular health and safety checks.
- Customer Service: Act as the main contact for clients, manage feedback, and address any concerns or special requests.
- Event Management: Coordinate event catering logistics, manage transportation, and handle setup and clean up.

Qualifications
- Proven experience in catering management or food service, within an Event setting preferred but not essential.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations - higher hourly rate available to those who are Level 3 Qualified.
Work Environment
This is a fast-paced role that may require weekend and holiday hours, with some physical demands such as standing for long periods and lifting equipment.
