Catering Manager
Location: Birmingham
Lead a diverse, multi-site catering operation at the heart of our business.
Are you an experienced Catering Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment? Do you enjoy leading people, driving operational excellence and delivering exceptional food and service across multiple catering outlets?
We're looking for a passionate and commercially minded Catering Manager to oversee our Head Office catering operation, leading a diverse team and ensuring every outlet delivers an outstanding customer experience.
About The Role
This is a varied, hands-on leadership role responsible for managing a multi-outlet, multi-disciplinary catering operation, including restaurants, coffee bars, retail, vending and hospitality services.
You'll lead teams across multiple disciplines, balancing operational excellence with commercial performance while continually looking for opportunities to improve the customer experience, introduce innovation and develop your people.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a multi-disciplinary team including chefs, baristas, hospitality, retail and food service colleagues.
- Manage multiple catering outlets and services, ensuring consistently high standards across food quality, service, cleanliness and presentation.
- Deliver excellent customer experiences while driving engagement and satisfaction.
- Oversee financial performance, including budgets, labour management, food costs and commercial targets.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, health & safety and company standards.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through innovation, digital systems and new technologies.
- Build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Coach, develop and inspire your teams to achieve high performance and continuous improvement.
- Lead from the front, providing visible operational support and maintaining exceptional standards across all areas.

About You
You'll be an experienced catering manager with a proven track record of managing complex catering operations.
You'll Also Have
- Experience managing multi-site and multi-disciplinary catering or food service operations.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach and develop diverse teams.
- A genuine passion for food, service and creating great customer experiences.
- Excellent commercial awareness with experience managing budgets, labour and financial performance.
- Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills.
- Confidence using digital systems, reporting tools and technology to improve operations.
- The ability to prioritise, problem-solve and perform under pressure in a fast-paced corporate environment.
