- Contract Type: Part Time, Term Time, Temporary (until 27/08/2027)
- Salary: £19,773 to £20,817 per annum
- Hours: 27.5 hours per week
- Location: Killin Primary School (Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 2.30pm)
About the Role
A vacancy exists for a motivated Catering Supervisor at Killin Primary School to ensure high-quality food preparation and service standards.
A minimum of 3 years’ supervisory experience, combined with strong food production, cooking, and presentation skills, is essential. Desirable:
- A REHIS Intermediate Food Hygiene qualification.
- An Elementary Food Hygiene qualification is mandatory to ensure compliance with the:
- Food Safety Act
- Health & Safety at Work Act
- Applicable legislative requirements.
The role involves:
- Supervising all kitchen activities—production, food safety, and service
- Meeting dietary requirements for students while ensuring efficiency and compliance
- Managing staff (including kitchen teams)
- A commitment to maintaining cleanliness, organisation, and health compliance

Responsibilities
- Overseeing food preparation, storage, and service
- Ensuring full adherence to food hygiene and safety laws
- Leading kitchen teams and supporting staff training
- Delivering a consistently high-quality customer experience
- Co-ordinating with school administration where necessary
- Liaising with suppliers to optimise inventory and procurement
Key Requirements
- Supervisory experience in food service environments
- Elementary Food Hygiene certification (mandatory), Intermediate desirable
- Attention to detail and ability to ensure a clean, safe, well-operated kitchen
- Strong organisational and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to:
