Catering Supervisor Strathyre Primary School, Part Time (Term Time), Temporary until 28/08/2027

- Salary: £17,975 – £18,925
- Hours: 25 per week (Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 2:00 pm)
- Location: Strathyre Primary School
- Must be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG)
About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Catering Supervisor to ensure high standards of food preparation and service at Strathyre Primary School, while maintaining compliance with food safety, health & safety, and legal requirements.
The ideal candidate should have:
- At least 3 years’ supervisory experience, with hands-on experience in high-quality cooking and dining service.
- A REHIS Intermediate Food Hygiene qualification (desirable) or REHIS Elementary Food Hygiene (essential).
- Ability to manage all kitchen operations, ensuring the safety and satisfaction of our customers.
Responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing daily food production and service
- Ensuring compliance with Food Safety Act, Health & Safety at Work Act, and all relevant legislation
- Delivering a consistent, high-standard dining experience for students and staff

Requirements
✅ Must be a member of the PVG Scheme ✅ Excellent food safety and hygiene knowledge (REHIS Elementary is mandatory) ✅ Experience in supervising catering operations and maintaining quality standards ✅ Committed to maintaining safe, clean, and inclusive working practices
