Location: Fintry Primary School
Job Summary
A vacuancy has occurred for a Catering Supervisor at Fintry Primary School who is motivated, interested and takes pride in ensuring that a high standard of food preparation and service is maintained.
- Contract Type: Part time, term time, temporary role until 27/08/2027
- Salary: £19,773 – £20,817 per annum
- Hours: 27.5 per week (Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 2.00pm)
- Closing Date: 30th July 2026
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise all activities in the kitchen, ensuring high standards of food preparation and presentation
- Ensure compliance with the Food Safety Act, Health & Safety at Work Act, and subsequent legislation
- Meet the demands of school service delivery, ensuring quality meal provision
- Supervise staff while ensuring that services are completed to the satisfaction of customers
- Maintain health, safety, and food hygiene standards at all times

Essential Requirements:
- Supervisory experience as a key requirement
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in quality cooking and presentation
- A REHIS Elementary Food Hygiene certificate qualification is essential
- A REHIS Intermediate Food Hygiene qualification is desirable
- Must be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme for Children (application required post-interview if successful)
