Our facilities Catering Team play an essential role within the trust, responsible for catering at ward level and commercial outlets across both our hospital sites.
We are recruiting Facilities Assistants at The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital and looking for individuals who share our passion and drive to ensure that our patients receive a quality meal service.
We have flexible hours vacancy opportunities and would be happy to discuss hours and shift patterns with successful candidates.

Main duties of the job
- Be part of our supervisors team leading the way for our staff to follow.
- Help manage our food safety system day to day manage our team day to day.
- Keep kitchen and food areas clean and safe by following hygiene rules.
- Work with other team members to make sure meals are served on time and to the right people.
- Talk politely with patients, staff and visitors and help with any questions or problems.
- Follow training and safety rules to do the job well and keep everyone safe.
