Overview
Park Holidays UK is seeking a talented, motivated, and passionate Catering Team Member to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are eager to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, contributing to the preparation of delicious meals and ensuring a high standard of food service. If you have a passion for food and enjoy working as part of a team, this could be the perfect role for you.
Job Duties
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of meals under the guidance of the kitchen team, ensuring all dishes meet the quality standards.
- Help with tasks such as chopping vegetables, preparing ingredients, and organising food stations to ensure a smooth cooking process.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including cleaning work surfaces, floors, and storage areas.
- Follow food safety guidelines, including proper handling, storage, and labelling of ingredients to prevent contamination.
- Assist in dishwashing and cleaning kitchen utensils, equipment, and dishes, ensuring all items are sanitised and ready for use.
- Provide general support to kitchen staff, including helping with inventory management, unpacking deliveries, and other tasks as needed to ensure efficient kitchen operations.

Requirements
- Previous experience working in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred, though not essential.
- Basic understanding of meal preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations.
- Familiarity with food safety practices and procedures, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team, contributing to a positive and efficient working environment.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately and ensure the quality of food preparation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a calm and focused demeanour.
