About the Role
We are seeking a Chef Manager for St Christopher’s Primary School, Red Lodge. Ideal for individuals passionate about offering nutritionally balanced and delicious meals to future generations. This term-time-only, Monday–Friday role offers no weekend work, providing flexibility for a strong work-life balance.

Pay & Hours
- £14 per hour
- 30 hours per week
- 38 weeks per year (term-time only)

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and present food to Caterlink and client standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
- Ensure compliance with statutory and company Health & Safety, Food Safety, and environmental regulations.
- Maintain and enhance Caterlink’s reputation for exceptional food and service by exceeding client expectations.
- Oversee daily operations, including:
- Managing inventories and budgets.
- Implementing action plans.
- Supervising teams (cooks, assistants).
- Act as the primary contact for the school, driving continuous improvement and adjustments.
- Monitor KPIs and financial targets in collaboration with management.
- Train and develop staff, ensuring performance excellence and completion of all training requirements.
