For over 20 years, the company has delivered fresh food solutions to pupils and staff at Primary Schools, Secondary Schools, and Colleges across the UK. We cater more than 1,000,000 meals a week. About the Role

We are seeking a Chef Manager at Kineton High School to ensure future generations receive nutritionally balanced and tasty food. This term-time-only role, with no weekend work, provides the perfect balance for those seeking flexibility.

Role Details

  • Rate: £17.00 per hour
  • Hours: 40 per week (Monday–Friday)
  • Employment Type: Permanent (Term-Time Only, 195 working weeks per year)

Responsibilities

  • Food Production: Prepare, cook, and present high-standard food aligned with Caterlink’s policies and client requirements.
  • Compliance & Safety:
    • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety, Food Safety, and environmental regulations.
    • Maintain statutory and company procedures at the location.
  • Service Excellence: Cultivate Caterlink’s reputation for exceptional food and service while exceeding customer expectations.
  • Operational Management:
    • Oversee daily operations, including inventory management.
    • Monitor budgets and implement action plans for efficiency.
    • Supervise teams and lead by example.
  • Client Relations:
    • Act as the primary main point of contact for the school client.
    • Proactively recommend and implement improvements based on feedback.
  • Performance & Development:
    • Communicate regularly with your line manager on KPIs and financial targets.
    • Support and train staff through training completion and performance management.
  • Parent & Student Protection: Uphold Caterlink’s safeguarding commitments, including an enhanced DBS disclosure for this role.
