Location: Hybrid working (base office within M25 attracts London Weighting allowance: £4,000 pa). ABOUT THE ROLE
A CBT Enforcement Examiner operates across a geographic network, delivering/enforcing motorcycle training dutiesāincluding:
- Motorcycle Instructor Qualification Tests
- Standards Checks
- Training Site Inspections and Compliance Checks
- Enforcement Duties at DVSA-operated sites and third-party sites
- Driver/rider testing duties (minimum 1 day per quarter when required)
Your responsibilities ensure high-quality, consistent, and client-focused servicesābalancing efficiency with value for money to meet DVSA Business Plan targets.
TOP RESPONSIBILITIES
- Administer and conduct instructor checks, ATB compliance inspections, site inspections, and qualification testsāadhering to DVSA procedures.
- Test motorcycle riders (as needed), maintaining detailed stakeholder records per SOPs.
- Foster collaboration with internal CBT Team colleagues to ensure consistency in approach.

REQUIREMENTS
To excel in this role, you should:
- Proven experience in delivering motorcycle training (understanding challenges and outcomes).
- Knowledge of DVSAās motorcycle assessment process across all categoriesāand road safety impacts on riders/drivers.
- "Advanced driver" or high-level riding expertise.
- Skilled in clear communication, adapting to diverse stakeholders.
- Strong planning/organisational abilities, capable of managing workloads independently.
