CCTV Analyst

About the Role

Vortex, a specialist CIPP (Cured-In-Place Pipe) rehabilitation contractor, is seeking an experienced and detail-focused CCTV Analyst to join our growing operations team, supporting projects across the South of the UK.

This is a key technical role within the business. Working from our office, you will be responsible for reviewing and analysing CCTV survey footage of wastewater and stormwater pipeline networks, identifying structural and service defects, and producing high-quality survey reports that directly inform and support our trenchless rehabilitation and lining programmes.

Working across footage and data captured from a range of infrastructure environments — from public sewers to private drainage assets — you will play a critical role in ensuring accurate condition assessment, supporting design decisions, and contributing to successful project delivery.

This position is based in our office and involves close collaboration with field survey teams, engineers, and operations management to ensure data accuracy and timely reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and analyse CCTV survey footage of foul, surface water, and combined sewer systems captured by crawler and push-rod camera systems
  • Assess pre- and post-rehabilitation survey footage to verify condition and quality of CIPP installations
  • Identify, classify, and code pipe defects in accordance with MSCC5 or specific client standards
  • Accurately record pipe dimensions, material types, flow conditions, and structural integrity from survey data
  • Produce clear, detailed, and professional survey reports using industry-standard software
  • Upload, manage, and maintain digital survey data within internal and client systems
  • Quality-check footage and reports submitted by field survey crews, providing technical feedback where required
  • Liaise with Site Engineers and Project Managers to clarify findings and support project decision-making
  • Maintain accurate digital archives and records of all survey data processed
  • Ensure full compliance with data handling, company procedures, and quality standards
  • Represent Lining Division Ltd professionally in all client-facing reporting

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
