About The Role
We are looking for an experienced and inclusive leader to join our Site Services Senior Leadership Team within Assets, Technology Solutions as CCTV Business Manager.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead and grow a specialist CCTV business that plays a critical role in protecting projects, assets and people across Balfour Beatty. With full responsibility for a business stream generating approximately £5m annual revenue, you will drive operational excellence, commercial performance and strategic growth, while creating an environment where people can thrive.
Reporting to the Site Services Director, you will provide leadership across our CCTV operations, including control room capability, asset management, engineering teams and supply chain partnerships. You will work closely with colleagues across the business to identify opportunities, improve efficiencies and deliver sustainable growth.
What you'll be doing
- Providing strategic and operational leadership for the CCTV business stream.
- Developing and delivering a long-term growth strategy aligned to business objectives.
- Leading the achievement of revenue, profitability and performance targets.
- Building strong relationships with customers, stakeholders and supply chain partners.
- Identifying and developing new business opportunities and service offerings.
- Driving operational excellence, continuous improvement and innovation.
- Ensuring robust commercial governance, forecasting and reporting.
- Promoting a positive culture focused on safety, wellbeing, inclusion and engagement.
- Leading and developing a team of departmental leaders and operational colleagues.
- Working collaboratively with connected business areas to maximise efficiencies and opportunities.
- Supporting investment decisions through the development of high-quality business cases.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, company policies and management systems.

- Strong leadership experience within an operational, technical or service-led environment.
- Experience managing budgets, forecasts and commercial performance.
- The ability to develop and deliver business strategies that drive growth and profitability.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience leading, coaching and developing high-performing teams.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- A commitment to health, safety, wellbeing and continuous improvement.

- Confidence presenting to senior leaders, customers and other stakeholders.
Experience within CCTV, security services, facilities management, engineering, infrastructure, construction or related sectors would be beneficial. However, we welcome applications from candidates with transferable leadership, commercial and operational experience.
