Working Hours: Monday to Friday (with overtime opportunities available)

About The Role
As a CCTV Drainage Engineer, you’ll work from a custom-equipped CCTV van, servicing commercial, residential, industrial, rail, road, utility, and other clients across the UK.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting CCTV surveys of drainage systems
- Assessing pipe conditions and diagnosing issues (e.g., blockages, structural defects, infiltration)
- Conducting high-quality testing and analysis of results
- Administering jetting units where required
- Overseeing site activity, ensuring the team operates safely and efficiently while meeting agreed deadlines
You’ll need to balance technical expertise with commercial accountability, delivering excellence in every inspection.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate CCTV equipment to perform detailed drainage system inspections
- Identify and diagnose blockages, structural defects, and infiltration issues
- Provide accurate technical reports with clear recommendations
- Liaise with clients and internal teams to communicate findings and proposed solutions
- Ensure all work complies with health & safety regulations and company policies
- Maintain and calibrate CCTV equipment for optimal performance
- Keep detailed records of inspections, maintenance, and results

About You
Desirable Qualifications & Certifications
- Valid driving licence
- Confined space entry certification
- High-pressure water jetting certification
Essential Knowledge & Experience
- Experience in conducting CCTV drainage surveys
- Familiarity with industry-standard reporting software (e.g., WinCan)
- Deep knowledge of drainage system mechanics and common failures
