CCTV Drainage Operative

Location: North West

About the Role

FJA are recruiting on behalf of a market leader in the water and wastewater sector for an experienced CCTV Drainage Operative to join a new three-man CCTV team. You’ll execute CCTV surveys of drainage networks across the North West, with strong development and progression opportunities.

CCTV Drainage Operative Role:

  • Carry out CCTV surveys of sewer and drainage networks
  • Use advanced CCTV equipment to identify defects and record accurate data
  • Work in confined spaces and on highways (training available)
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Complete paperwork and annotate drainage plans
  • Operate outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Perform manual handling, including lifting manhole covers
  • Flexible working, including occasional weekends

Requirements:

Essential:

  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Ability to complete paperwork accurately
  • Knowledge of sewer networks and domestic drainage
  • Good problem-solving and record-keeping
  • Reliable, flexible, and able to work outdoors
  • Full UK driving licence
  • CCTV experience (beneficial)

Desirable:

  • Confined Spaces Certificate
  • NRSWA Signing, Lighting & Guarding
  • Outdoor/manual labour experience
  • Willingness to learn and develop
